Nancy, a single mother struggling to make ends meet, is forced to vacate her rental home for a week by her landlord, Mr. Peterson, after a late rent payment. Desperate and with nowhere else to go, Nancy and her three daughters stay in a noisy, cramped hostel. When Sophie’s beloved stuffed bunny, Mr. Floppy, is left behind, Nancy returns to the house to retrieve it. There, she meets Peterson’s brother, Jack, who is shocked to learn about the eviction and promises to help.
