Florida Teen, Kadance Fredericksen, Dies in Tragic Car Crash
Santa Rosa County, FL – Kadance Fredericksen, 18, lost her life in a car accident when her sedan collided with a tractor-trailer. The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
Fredericksen, a former Miss Okaloosa County Teen USA, was known for her philanthropy. She founded Kada’s Promise in 2017, a charity that has donated over 12,000 teddy bears and blankets to children in need, inspired by her own difficult childhood.
Her passing has devastated her community. Baker School described her as “a beacon of light” and will hold a candlelight vigil on Wednesday at 7 p.m., where attendees are encouraged to bring teddy bears in her honor.
As authorities continue their investigation, the community remembers Fredericksen’s legacy of kindness, resilience, and generosity.
