Stranger Keeps Secretly Visiting Soldier’s Grave, When Mom Finds Out ‘Why’ She Tracks Him Down
One of the biggest tragedies in life is losing a kid. It makes sense that parents of service members stationed abroad worry about their kids’ welfare every day.
As a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, Joseph Villasenor was devoted to his country.
Before his tragic demise at the age of 36, this brave man served his country for 16 years. Raymond and Rachel Villasenor, his parents, were distraught.
The disappearance of their son appeared incomprehensible to them. The anguish was really tough to cope with. They related the tragic death of their son and the enigmatic incident that transpired shortly thereafter.
They saw something strange when they were paying their respects in Arlington, Texas’ Garden Park Cemetery: a path of verdant grass extended from their son’s grave to the surrounding ground.
They are unable to determine the actual motivation.
They were unaware that a few months prior, their daughter had coincidentally met an elderly man named Jake Reissig.
When Jake saw Joseph’s sister crying, he was in the cemetery bringing flowers to his late wife’s grave.
He had to ask her what was wrong as he approached.
She informed them of her brother’s recent death, which left the whole family in despair. Jake could do something to show his concern even though he couldn’t improve everything.
He intended to deliver flowers at Joseph’s tomb. He irrigated the lawn every day as well.
When Rachel and her husband Raymond visited the cemetery of their son, they noticed that it was adorned with flowers. They were greatly cheered by the sight. However, they were unable to determine who should get gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.
Eventually, they discovered that Jake was in charge of keeping up the grave marker.
Jake’s act of goodwill moved them to tears. They couldn’t even put into words how appreciative they were of this elderly man.
You need someone to show you they care when things get difficult. Jake, you and people like you make the world a better place. Thank you so much.
