King Charles
Early Life
Charles was born at Buckingham Palace and is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He was educated at various schools, including Cheam School and Gordonstoun in Scotland, and later attended the University of Cambridge, where he studied archaeology and anthropology.
Before taking on royal duties, Charles served in the Royal Navy from 1971 to 1976, gaining valuable leadership experience.
Personal Life
Charles married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981, and they had two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. Their marriage faced difficulties and ended in divorce in 1996. Sadly, Diana passed away in a car accident in 1997. In 2005, Charles married Camilla Parker Bowles, who is now the Queen Consort.
Interests and Charitable Work
Charles is known for his commitment to various causes, including environmental sustainability and organic farming. He founded The Prince’s Trust in 1976, which supports young people in the UK.
