They told my wife: “You Are Not Pretty Enough to Work Here” I had to do something about it
I requested to speak with the manager, Lisa, and recounted the entire story. Lisa’s expression turned serious, and she promptly took Sophia into her office. When Lisa returned, she apologized and invited Emma to reapply, assuring her of a fair interview.
Emma was hesitant but decided to give it another try. A week later, she interviewed successfully, greeted warmly by Lisa and the staff, with Sophia absent. Emma thrived in her new role, and I visited her often, witnessing her confidence blossom. Sophia, however, was transferred to another branch, far from us.
Looking back, we laugh about the incident, grateful for the strength it brought Emma. No one would make her feel unworthy again, and I would always stand by her side.
