A wealthy businessman criticizes a mother of three for flying business class, but his complaints vanish when the pilot makes a heartfelt announcement.
“Seriously? You’re making her sit here? Miss, you need to do something!” Louis Newman huffed as he noticed a mother of three being escorted to her seat by a stewardess.
“I’m sorry, sir,” the stewardess replied kindly, showing him the tickets. “These seats have been assigned to Mrs. Debbie Brown and her children. We can’t make any changes at this point. I kindly ask for your cooperation.”
“But you don’t understand! I have an important meeting with investors. Her kids will be noisy, and I can’t risk losing this deal!” Louis insisted.
“Sir…” the stewardess began, but Debbie interrupted, “It’s okay. If it’s a problem, I can sit elsewhere if anyone is willing to swap seats with us.”
“Not at all, ma’am!” the stewardess retorted. “You have every right to sit here; you paid for these seats! Please be patient until the flight is over.”
Louis was frustrated that the stewardess didn’t comply with his request, but he was even more annoyed to be seated next to someone he perceived as out of place, dressed in simple clothing.
