Cheerleader Emily Gold, 17, of America’s Got Talent commits suicide a few weeks after going on the show
Steven, her father, shared an emotional statement on Instagram. He stated, “With sadness unfathomable, we must tell you all that we lost our beautiful Emily on September 13th. Right now, our hearts are holed the size of the universe.”
“We are seeing how many lives that angel touched and uplifted through the outpouring of love and support we are receiving, and it is what will get us through the most trying time in our lives.”
Gold was honoured by family and friends.
Gold’s brother Alex stated, “The times we spent together won’t ever be enough.” “You were my entire childhood, and I will always cherish the memories we created and the places we visited and experienced together. Em, you truly broke my heart. “I’ll live my life and always stand up for you.”
One of Gold’s closest friends, Mia Bustamante, also expressed her respects and honoured her buddy, referring to her as “such a light in my life.” “There are no words to express how much I adore you, my lovely Goldie. It pains me to think of being without you. Beyond words, I will miss you so much, Mia posted on Instagram.
“You have a way of putting a smile on everyone’s face and brightening every day.” You have been and always will be such a light in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a more exquisite kind of love than what you gave me. “My eternal dance sister and greatest friend. My Emmy, you have my undying love.”
We are deeply saddened for this little life’s loss. Peace be with her as she rests. Please use Facebook to SHARE this post with your loved ones.
